  • Serving as plaintiff’s counsel for a prominent publicly-traded company in an $80 million commercial fraud case, resulting in an eight-figure settlement to the client.


  • Winning summary judgment on behalf of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in a multi-million dollar commercial case in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

  • Filing suit on behalf of PNC National Bank, N.A. in the D.C. Superior Court against a prominent national bank, resulting in an early and successful settlement.


  • Representing one of the world’s largest gaming-technology companies in a D.C. Superior Court case concerning the D.C. Lottery.


  • Winning a plaintiff’s judgment at trial in the D.C. Superior Court in a significant commercial-leasing case.


  • Defending a private intelligence gathering firm in a widely-reported case in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia alleging various intentional torts – after 18 months of contentious litigation, the plaintiff abandoned all claims with prejudice.


  • Successfully defending through trial in the Fairfax County Circuit Court a complex case alleging theft of trade secrets, conspiracy, breach of fiduciary duty, and unjust enrichment.


  • Defending a senior private banker in connection with a U.S. Senate committee investigation, criminal investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and foreign governments, and follow-on civil litigation.


  • Winning a substantial plaintiff’s verdict, including punitive damages, in a real-estate fraud case brought in Maryland Circuit Court.
